We currently set the focus of our reach from roughly Santa Barbara to San Clemente, and south of US-101 and west of I-5 to the Pacific Ocean.

Kingdom Expansion in Coastal SoCal

We are also dividing this region up into 6 subregions in order for churches in common areas to focus their relationships and cooperative efforts with those in close proximity: Southern Central Coast, Santa Monica Mountains, Silicone Beach, Los Angeles, Gateway, North OC, and South OC.

The vision is to see an outpost in every neighborhood, and a Christ-proclaiming church in every enclave of this region. We also are beginning work to establish mission training centers for each of these sub-regions that develop missionary teams and leaders in theology, mission, and also practical trades in order to function in a multi-vocational environment.

For example,

Long Beach (and surrounding area) has roughly 106 neighborhoods. We will be working alongside local churches to train the “Royal Priesthood” (1 Peter 2:9) to see their homes, workplaces, campuses, and places of recreation as outposts from which the ministry of Christ extends for the benefit of our neighbors in each of these neighborhoods.

Let’s say 3-4 of these outposts are organized in the Downtown area of Long Beach, we will help these people come together to form a mission congregation in partnership with other local churches and one of our missionary leaders and teams. This church will gather for the purpose of worship, building one another up in love, and having a unique mission to the people of that area of Long Beach.

The scope of our mission together begins with each person’s vocation(s) right where God has them in the neighborhood…
